At last, here it is… my graduation project!
“Heart Of The Lily”
My final project is inspired by the Red Spider Lily; not only because of its striking and unique shape, but also because of the symbolism, beliefs, and stories connected to this flower.
This flower is often associated with farewell, impermanence, and the afterlife; stories that are both dark and powerful. I have tried to capture this duality in my work, with the dark core symbolising all those stories hidden beneath the silver and gold exterior.
